Researchers to recycle crab shells for hard carbon production
Researchers from Japan and China recently found that crab shells can be recycled and used in the production of hard carbon, a popular anode material for sodium-ion batteries, Kallanish learns from America Chemical Society.
According to their paper, such anode materials can be formed after the crab shells are heated to over 538°C, being added to the solution of tin sulfide and iron sulfide.
