REPT, Energy Vault to collaborate on energy storage
Chinese battery company REPT Battero, a subsidiary of nickel giant Tsingshan, has signed a liquid-cooled energy storage battery system supply agreement with US energy storage technology developer Energy Vault, Kallanish reports.
REPT Battero will provide 10 gigawatt-hours of liquid-cooled energy storage battery system for Energy Vault to support the global battery energy storage layout of Energy Vault. Financial details weren’t disclosed.
