REPT Battero, Powin ink 8.4 GWh battery storage cell agreement
China’s REPT Battero said Wednesday it has inked a supply agreement with US-based energy storage company Powin for 8.4 gigawatt-hours of cells in Indonesia, Kallanish reports.
The undisclosed agreement covers the supply of REPT’s 320-ampere-hours (Ah) so-called Wending batteries. They will be integrated by Powin into a hybrid “megaproject” in Jakarta, featuring 2 gigawatts of solar power generation and 8 GW of battery energy storage. The pr…
