Renewable hydrogen only known way to decarbonise steel: H2 Green Steel
H2 Green Steel’s ceo Henrik Henriksson said Tuesday that “renewable hydrogen is the only known way” to decarbonise the steelmaking sector, alongside other hard-to-electrify industries, Kallanish reports.
“Steel is one example, responsible for 7-9% of global CO2 emissions. With green hydrogen, we will produce green steel with up to 95% lower emissions,” he says in an announcement of his company joining the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition.…
