Renault mulls battery swapping programme for its EVs
Renault is considering a launch of battery swapping stations to serve some of its electric cars, ceo Luca de Meo revealed earlier this week.
“I’ve asked our engineers to find the solution, to go back to the original idea that was pioneered by Renault around 2010-11 and maybe we’ll see the thing coming on some of the cars,” he told the Financial Times’ FT Car conference.
