Renault Cléon plant starts new electric motor line
The Renault plant in Cléon, the largest electric and hybrid motors manufacturing facility in France, has started its new ePT-160kW electric motor production line in a further step forward towards its complete conversion to electrification, Kallanish notes.
The automaker invested €620 million ($638m) over the past four years to make the plant an electric motor and component producer.
