RARE EARTH: NioCorp eyes possible flowsheet changes at Elk Creek project
NioCorp Developments is looking at making improvements to its Elk Creek rare earth project flowsheet to streamline production and to reduce capital and operating costs and perhaps greenhouse gas emissions, Kallanish reports.
Those possible process improvements must still be proven through testing at the demonstration plant scale, says the Colorado-based company. That testing is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
