RARE EARTH: Mining to begin at Vital Metals' Nechalacho project
Australia-based Vital Metals says it plans to begin mining next month with local labour at its Nechalacho rare earth project in Canada’s Northwest Territories, Kallanish reports.
Its Cheetah Resource Corp subsidiary has signed a contract with Det’on Cho Nahanni Construction Ltd to begin mining in the North T Zone, marking the first mining at the Nechalacho site with rare earth oxide production expected to begin in calendar year 2021.
