RARE EARTH: Lynas to build US light rare earth facility

Australia-based Lynas Rare Earths Ltd has inked a new agreement with the US government to build a commercial light rare earths separation plant, expected to be built in Texas, Kallanish reports. The facility, partially funded by the US Department of Defence, will process rare earths from the cracking and leaching plant being developed at its Mt Held mine in Kalgoolie in Western Australia.
