NICKEL: Posco to build nickel sulfate refinery
South Korea's Posco Steel plans to build a nickel sulfate refinery to meet the increasing demand for electric vehicle (EV) batteries.
The company expects to reach 20,000 tonnes/year of nickel sulfate capacity by 2023, which is enough to supply 500,000 EVs, Kallanish notes.
