Port of Rotterdam starts hydrogen plant feasibility study
Energy provider Uniper and the Port of Rotterdam are investigating the possibilities of large-scale production of green hydrogen at the Maasvlakte area in Rotterdam, Kallanish learns from the Port of Rotterdam Authority.
The parties intend to develop a hydrogen plant by 2025 with a capacity of 100 megawatts. In time, this will be expanded to 500 MW. The feasibility study will be completed this summer, the port says in a note.
