Pilbara Minerals fetches $5,955/dmt in latest spot auction
Australian lithium miner Pilbara Minerals fetched $5,955/dry metric tonne (dmt) in its latest spodumene concentrate spot auction, Kallanish learns from the company.
The results of the fifth auction on the BMX platform on 24 May represent a 5.39% increase from the previous auction on 27 April. Pilbara sold a 5,000-dmt cargo at 5.5% lithia on a fob Port Hedland basis.
The highest bid accepted by the miner corresponds to a price of $6,586/dmt for SC6.0 cif China. I…
