Piedmont Lithium to spend $809m on Tennessee lithium plant
Piedmont Lithium says it will cost $809 million to build a new lithium hydroxide plant in southeast Tennessee, Kallanish reports.
That is about $237m more than what the North Carolina-based company had announced in March 2022 in a preliminary economic assessment on building its second lithium hydroxide plant in the United States, according to a new definitive feasibility study on the Tennessee plant.
