Panasonic gives up Oklahoma battery factory plan
Japanese power battery supplier Panasonic Energy has reportedly decided to give up its plan to build a battery factory in Oklahoma, US, after careful consideration.
According to reports, the company says the decision to not “move forward with developing the site” will not impact its operations in Nevada and Kansas. Panasonic did not publicly address the supposed change of heart or respond to Kallanish’s queries on the matter.
