Panasonic eyes 4680 mass production by Q1 2024
Japanese battery manufacturer Panasonic said Monday it will start mass production of high-capacity 4680 battery cells by March 2024, Kallanish reports.
The company will build a new production facility at its Wakayama factory, western Japan, to manufacture the Tesla-ordered cells.
