Panasonic demonstrates its 4680-type battery
Panasonic has released details of its 4680 battery cell bound for Tesla vehicles.
“The release of this battery will help deepen the commercial cooperation between Panasonic and Tesla," says Panasonic Energy president Kazuo Tadanobu at a press conference where the company displayed its 4680-type battery cell prototype.
According to Tesla, the 4680 electrodeless battery has a five-fold increase in energy density, a 16% increase in mileage of the vehicle…
