NICKEL: Nornickel to become carbon neutral by 2060
Russian Nornickel will become carbon neutral sometime before 2060, but the exact commitment will be announced next month, says company head Vladimir Potanin.
“We will not increase greenhouse emissions in absolute terms, but we will significantly reduce [them]," Potanin says. “We will have an Investor Day at the end of November, when there will be more precise dates.”
