Nornickel to increase production with new advanced furnace
Russian miner Nornickel has launched the replacement of one of its oldest furnaces at Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant (NMP).
According to the company, the furnace will be removed with a new one powered by state-of-the-art flash smelting technologies. This will improve the reliability and productivity of operations, it claims.
