Nornickel announces mining reconfiguration plan in Murmansk region
Nornickel plans the reconfiguration of its mining operations in the Pechenga district of the Russian Murmansk region to increase efficiency and production volumes, Kallanish notes.
The work will accelerate the development of production capacities at the Severny mine in Zapolyarny, the company says. Equipped with modern equipment and a significant level of automation, the mine will be highly productive, it adds.
