NIO to produce its sub-brand in Hefei
Electric vehicle company NIO's founder and ceo Li Bin recently disclosed that NIO has signed an agreement with Hefei City's economic development district on the second-phase project at the Xinqiao-based intelligent EV industrial park. The factory will produce models of NIO's new brand, targeting the mid- to high-end market with a unit selling price of about CNY 200,000 ($29,815.28) and an annual production capacity of 500,000 vehicles.
