Nio to deploy more battery swapping facilities amid China's new NEV tax policies
Chinese leading smart EV maker Nio reiterated its plans to further expand its layouts in battery swapping stations. This decision has to do with China’s new tax incentive policies, Kallanish understands.
On 25 June, the company announced it had constructed over 1,500 battery swapping stations in China. With its 2023 goal of constructing 1,000 battery swapping stations, Nio expects the figure to exceed 2,300 by the end of this year.
