NICKEL, COPPER: Russia’s nickel, copper exports fall
Russian nickel and copper shipments have decreased in January-June, according to the country’s latest federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of unprocessed nickel decreased fell by 27.1% year-on-year to 33,400 tonnes. In monetary terms, shipments were 1.5% higher at $573.1 million.
Six-month exports of unprocessed copper amounted to 317,500 t, up by 1.9% y-o-y. In monetary terms, the indicators were 50.2% higher at $2.6 billion.
