NICKEL, COPPER: Russian nickel, copper shipments continue to fall
Russian nickel shipments and copper deliveries decreased further in January-October, according to the country’s latest federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of unprocessed nickel decreased by 52.5% on-year to 45,000 tonnes. In monetary terms, shipments fell by 34.5% to $788.3 million. In October alone, Russia did not export nickel, while in October 2020 supplies of this metal abroad amounted to 9,000 t.
