NICKEL, COPPER, COBALT: BHP to invest in Tanzania nickel project
BHP is investing $40 million to accelerate development of the Kabanga nickel project to produce Class 1 battery-grade nickel, cobalt and copper in Tanzania and $10m to support Lifezone Ltd’s low-carbon hydrometallurgical processing technology at the African project, Kallanish reports.
