NICKEL: Brazilian refined exports fall, ores increase in March
Brazilian refined nickel exports fell in March both monthly and annually. Shipments of ore, however, moved up during the month, according to the country’s National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic).
Data monitored by Kallanish shows that refined nickel exports were 8.3% lower m-o-m in March at 121,000 tonnes. This volume was also 13.9% less when compared to the 141,000 t shipped abroad in the same period in 2021.
