NICKEL: Brazilian nickel exports surge in April
Brazilian nickel exports grew both month-on-month and year-on-year in April, according to a National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) report monitored by Kallanish. Cumulative shipments also remained higher.
Nickel exports were 13.58% more m-o-m in April at 160,000 tonnes. The volume was also 221.5% higher when compared to the 49,900 t shipped abroad in the same period in 2020.
