NICKEL: Brazilian nickel exports dip in February
Brazilian nickel exports decreased both month-on-month and year-on-year in February, according to a National Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) report monitored by Kallanish. Cumulative shipments also remained weak.
Nickel exports were 12.8% down m-o-m in February at 102,000 tonnes. The volume was down 31.5% when compared to the 134,000 t shipped abroad in the same period in 2020.
