MMG to expand production at Las Bambas copper mine
Chinese miner MMG is reportedly hoping to expand production at the Las Bambas copper mine in southern Peru by the end of this year.
Las Bambas is a joint venture project between MMG (62.5%), a subsidiary of Guoxin International Investment (22.5%) and CITIC Metal (15%). The open-pit mine, operated by MMG, produces copper concentrate and by-products.
