Metso Outotec to provide battery recycling technology for NY project
Finland-based Metso Outotec Corp says it has signed an agreement with Li-Cycle North American Hub to supply a manganese, cobalt and nickel solvent extraction technology for a battery recycling plant to be built in Rochester, New York, Kallanish has learned.
The contract value was not disclosed. The deal includes three modular VSF X solvent extraction plants and related dual media filters plus basic engineering for the metals’ extraction technology.
