Mercedes-Benz’s BEV market share rises to 10% in Q1
Mercedes-Benz saw its BEV global market share rise to 10% in Q1 2023, up from 6% a year earlier, with major delivery boosts in the US, Japan, Korea and China.
The German carmaker sold 51,600 BEV units during the January-March period, which is 89% higher than the same period last year. Entry segment EVs proved popular, with EQB sales up 189% and EAQ sales rising by 64%, the company says.
