Mercedes-Benz breaks own efficiency record with Vision EQXX concept car
German carmaker Mercedes-Benz said it’s research car Vision EQXX has broken a new efficiency record in a trip from Stuttgart, Germany, to Silverstone, UK, Kallanish reports.
The concept all-electric vehicle achieved efficiency of 8.3 kilowatt-hour per 100 kilometres, in a 1,202-km journey on a single charge. Previously, the BEV had done a range of 1,008 km at 8.7 kWh efficiency, travelling from Stuttgart to Cassis in France.
