McPhy to build French gigafactory
French McPhy is to build an electrolyser gigafactory in Belfort, France, with the objective to scale up electrolysers production.
The total investment has been indicated at between €30-40 million ($36-48m) but a precise figure will be finalised once feasibility studies are completed and authorisations obtained, Kallanish notes.
The company has applied for European funds in the framework of the Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI).
