Maryland to invest $3.7 million for EV infrastructure
Maryland will invest $3.7 million, the state's portion of a Volkswagen air pollution violation settlement, into electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure for the state, Kallanish reports.
In an announcement, the state unveiled a breakdown of the investment explaining that the $3.7m would go towards 36 new public chargers in 13 locations, as well as towards the development of 145 new workplace charging ports in 24 locations.
