LITHIUM: Sayona, Piedmont get Quebec court approval to buy NAL
The Superior Court of Quebec has approved the purchase of North American Lithium by Sayona Quebec and Piedmont Lithium, paving the way for a world-class lithium-spodumene mining and processing hub in Quebec, Kallanish reports.
The court granted an approval and a vesting order for the joint bid. Court approval was required because Quebec-based North American Lithium is under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act in Canada.
