LITHIUM: Sayona Mining raises funds for NAL purchase, new lithium hub
Australia-based Sayona Mining has raised AUS 45 million ($33.7m) from institutional and other investors to help fund its acquisition of North American Lithium and to develop its planned Abitibi lithium hub in Quebec.
US-based Piedmont Lithium subscribed for AUS 8m. It is a partner with Sayona Mining in acquiring Canada-based North American Lithium and expanding Quebec lithium operations, Kallanish reports.
