LITHIUM: Rock Tech Lithium plans to build second converter in Romania
Canada-based clean tech company Rock Tech Lithium said Tuesday it plans to build the second of its five European planned lithium hydroxide converters in Romania, Kallanish reports.
The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Romanian government for cooperation and support in its search for a location in the country. The proposed plant will produce 24,000 tonnes/year of lithium hydroxide, which would be enough to manufacture 500,000 EV batteries. &nbs…
