LITHIUM: Posco, Pilbara to finalise South Korean JV in July
The downstream lithium joint venture between South Korean steelmaker Posco and Australian lithium miner Pilbara Minerals should be finalised next month, Kallanish reports.
The companies executed a binding terms sheet in 2019 for the creation of a joint venture in South Korea to develop and operate a lithium hydroxide and carbonate chemical conversion facility in Gwangyang.
