LITHIUM: Piedmont Lithium releases economic impact study on Carolina project
Piedmont Lithium’s planned Carolina Lithium Project is expected to produce a total output impact of $533.6 million in 2027, according to a new economic impact study completed for the company, Kallanish reports.
The report estimates that the 2027 total output impact including supply chain impacts and induced impacts will total $687.8m. It also says that direct employment in 2027 at the project in Gaston County in western North Carolina will be 428 jobs. …
