E3 Lithium produces lithium metal battery
Alberta-based E3 Lithium says its has produced its first successful battery in a collaboration with Pure Lithium, Kallanish reports.
Pure Lithium used lithium produced from E3’s direct lithium extraction (DLE) technology to create the lithium metal that was used to produce a pouch cell battery, the company says. The testing was designed to demonstrate the proof of concept, it adds.
