Lithium Americas says construction nearly complete at Argentina project
Lithium Americas says construction is substantially complete at its Cauchari-Olaroz lithium project in Argentina, and it is expected to deliver first production by the end of June 2023, Kallanish reports.
Production is expected to ramp up in the second half of 2023 and to reach full production of 40,000 tonnes/year of lithium carbonate by Q1 2024, the British Columbia-based company says in a corporate update.
