LGES revenue rises 42% in 2021 on strong EV demand
South Korean battery manufacturer LG Energy Solution (LGES) reported on Tuesday a 42% growth in revenues last year, on the back of strong demand from the EV sector.
Total revenues reached KRW 17.85 trillion ($14.9 billion), reflecting “solid demand” for pouch and cylindrical battery cells for EVs, Kallanish reports. Its 2021 financial performance was also impacted by a number of one-off factors – some negative, others positive.
