KORE Power to build lithium-ion battery plant in Arizona
Kore Power, a leading US battery cell technology company, says it will build a massive lithium-ion battery facility in southern Arizona, Kallanish reports.
The facility, dubbed KOREPlex, will be built in Buckeye, Arizona, about 64.3 kilometres west of Phoenix. The plant will be the first US lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility wholly owned by a US company, says the Idaho-based company.
