NICKEL, COBALT: Jervois progresses towards Brazilian refinery restart
Australia’s Jervois Mining has appointed equipment supplier Metso Outotec to lead testwork and flowsheet engineering for a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) on the restart of its São Miguel Paulista (SMP) nickel/cobalt refinery in Brazil.
Metso Outotec will support lead contractor Ausenco in order to enable a restart of operations at the refinery next year, Kallanish reports.
