Jervois Global announces final permit of Brazilian nickel-cobalt refinery
Australian cobalt development company Jervois Global announced on 8 July that the São Miguel Paulista nickel and cobalt refinery has received its final operating permit, Kallanish reports.
The grant was issued to Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio (CBA), which is selling the asset to Jervois. The deal announced in 2020 is now anticipated to close “on or about 15 July,” Jervois said in a brief statement.
