Jervois eyes investment from cobalt customer
Australia’s Jervois Global has signed an MOU with its customer Pennsylvania-based Global Tungsten & Powders (GTP) for a potential investment in Jervois’ proposed US cobalt refinery.
The nickel and cobalt company is currently working with consultancy Afry on a bankable feasibility study. The project is planned to produce 6,000 tonnes/year of cobalt sulphate, enough to supply 1.2 million EVs per annum.
