Japan to launch deep-sea trial mining in 2025
A Japanese research team formed by Nippon Foundation and University of Tokyo plans to start trial mining near Minami-Torishima Island, an isolated Japanese coral atoll in the northwestern Pacific Ocean in 2025, Kallanish reports.
