Ineos to spend €2 billion on green hydrogen production
UK petrochemical group Ineos said Monday it will invest over €2 billion ($2.32 billion) in green hydrogen production across Europe, Kallanish reports.
The investment will cover electrolyser projects in Norway, Germany, Belgium, UK and France over the next 10 years. The first unit will be a 20-megawatt electrolyser in Norway, reducing the carbon footprint of Ineos’ operation at Rafnes and serving as a hub for the Norwegian transport sector.
