Ineos to build Land Rover-heir Grenadier in France
Britain’s Ineos Automotive will manufacture its Grenadier hydrogen-powered 4x4 off-road utility vehicle in France - not in the UK as previously pledged, Kallanish reports.
The planned vehicle, which is considered the “heir” to the Land Rover, will be built in the former Mercedes-Benz site in Hambach. Ineos acquired the facility and will start manufacturing in late 2021, targeting delivery to customers in early 2022.
