Ineos creates clean hydrogen unit in net-zero push
British chemicals giant Ineos is launching a clean hydrogen business to speed up the drive to net-zero carbon emissions, Kallanish reports.
The company says in a statement on 9 November that the new unit will be headquartered in the UK and will invest in green hydrogen production across Europe. Currently, it produces 300,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year mainly as a co-product from its chemical manufacturing operations.
