India could soon have two new battery investments: report
India reportedly has two battery investments on the drawing board, with Tesla mulling a battery storage project in the country and domestic steel giant JSW studying an EV battery joint venture with LGES.
Citing unnamed sources, Reuters said in separate reports on Thursday that Tesla’s negotiations with the government are now focusing on battery storage and its Powerwall product, rather than the previous EV target discussion.
